  • Secure: in accordance with the UK Data Protection  Act  and  the  EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us to prevent unauthorised access

  • Necessary: we won't collect information unless it is needed for purposes we have told you about in this Privacy Policy, to deliver a better service or to give you useful, relevant information.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the up to date version of this policy on our website.

This Privacy Policy applies to the ACMP UK Chapter. Different countries may approach data privacy in slightly different ways. If we transfer your personal data to other countries outside the EEA, we will safeguard your personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy.

What personal data do we collect?

MEMBER DATA: If you are a Member, we need to collect and use information about you in the course of providing you services. This information includes:

• • Title (e.g. Mr./Miss / etc)

  • Name

  • Address

  • Email address

  • Phone Number

  • Postal Address

  • Details of membership of other professional bodies

  • Educational details

  • Employment details.

SPONSORS / PARTNERS / SUPPLIERS DATA: We need a small amount of information from our Sponsors / Partners / Suppliers to ensure that our relationship runs smoothly. We need contact details of relevant individuals at your organisation so that we can communicate with you. In the event of a partnership, co-promotion, or sponsorship we may require details of other organisations with whom you affiliate so that we can communicate with you and effectively market your participation and sponsor/partner benefits. We may also need other information such as your bank details so that we can pay for the services you provide.

WEBSITE USERS: We collect a limited amount of data from our Website Users which we use to help us to improve your experience when using our website and to help us manage the services we provide. This includes information such as how you use our website, the frequency with which you access our website, and the times that our website is most popular.
